Healing Journey...

Choosing to pursue ones own healing, choosing to pursue ones own understanding of Spirit, right and wrong, the way life works, are all freeing activities.  Fear and anxiety, and diseases both mental and physical, are all telling us there are things in our lives that need to be looked at.   Choosing to Look at these begins the healing that will free us from them.  It is possible that our families, our religion, our peers, have influenced our beliefs to the point that our beliefs may be bad for us and unless we recognize this and look at them and release them, some of them and what results from them can affect our entire life.   The healing journey that we embark upon can be beneficial in many ways but it may save our life...

Every Choice You Make.....

The same information coming from different sources lends integrity to the information.  This is from an older book by Gregg Braden called WALKING BETWEEN THE WORLDS, The Science of Compassion.  These quotes are about making choices for compassion and how it effects the world around us and moves out in ever widening ripples of influence in the world.

“Each time someone else opens up enough to recognize that they have a choice in how they respond to life, your choice of compassion assures that they have another possibility to select from...
Someone must do it first.  Someone must take the initiative to move beyond the cycle of old choices and responses and recognize the opportunity of a higher response to life’s offering.”

Every choice you make for love and compassion has influence beyond your imagination.  But even if it just made one person feel better wouldn’t that be enough?

Selfhood... Making Choices...

Selfhood Pt. 3  Making choices
Know yourself and know that you have choices.  It did not hit me until I was in middle age that I actually had choices.  I did not realize that I could make choices about my life that were not based on what I learned as a child.  And knowing myself allowed me to make better choices.   It may seem obvious that we make choices in our lives but what we need to realize is that those choices need to be conscious choices, that we make these choices about ourselves based on information about ourselves rather than allowing them to be made automatically by the programming we have received as a child.
