Last Wednesday, Sept, 19, 2012, Dr. David R. Hawkins, medical doctor and psychiatrist and a pioneer in bridging science and mind body medicine died at the age of 85.
His work and his writing was personal and so very informative.
I wish to share with you a small section from his book HEALING AND RECOVERY. It is my way of honoring and thanking him.
“The specifics of healing a particular illness consists of (1) letting go of resisting the sensory experience of it, (2) no longer putting names or labels on it, and (3)using no words at all. Welcome experiencing what you are experiencing in a very radical way and at the same time (4) cancel the thought form and belief system, and (5)choose the energy field of Love, which heals.”
“Choose the energy field of Love, which heals.”
Thank you Dr. Hawkins for your love and compassion...

We are in the Between Time...
In the mean time the wars continued, there were protests and riots in the streets, and politicians whined and harangued against each other trying to convince the numb and non seeing that they were the ones who would save them.
It was the middle time, the time between the death of the old and dying ways and the evolvement to a new and higher way of being.
This time was especially hard for the watchers, the ones that knew. The ones who could only hold the light and watch. “Why can’t they just get over it, why can’t they just grow up” was their thought, their mantra.
Does this sound familiar? It should, because that time is now...We are between the old ways and the evolved human. We are in the between time...

I wonder what Capt Kirk would say.......
On a radio talk show 80 year old consummate actor et al William Shatner was interviewed. A man of many accomplishments one of the latest of which is another book that he has written about himself, he talked in the book and in the interview about how on his 80th birthday he was feeling fearful and anxious. The reason was, he said, that he is fearful of death. The older one gets the specter of death creeps closer and he reported that he does not have the faith or the belief that God or loved ones will be waiting for him on the other side. But then he brought up hearing about the last words of Steve Jobs, “oh wow, oh wow, oh wow”. Shatner wondered where that came from and what prompted Jobs to say those words. Here is an interesting example of a man that has conquered his fear of life through all of his accomplishments but now is being faced with the fear of dying. Funny the priorities we humans place on ourselves. I see a time in the future when we will live much longer lives but when it is time to take off this physical shell we will just do so. No fanfare, no fear. I wonder what Captain Kirk would say about all of this.
