God IS Love...

The belief in Hell and a god that hates his creations (us) so much that he would fling us into eternal suffering is an old belief.  Its the best that people of old could do.  This idea of God came about at a time when it was almost impossible to even conceive of a God that is All.   Think about what a God of Love, that is All, Everywhere, All knowing would be like...  Think about how we have been told... God is Love... what does that mean?  Total destruction of someone or even worse, making them endure eternal punishment is more of a hating emotion don’t you think.   God is love...

What is He going to do? Condemn....

The Church’s ideas of original sin and everlasting punishment in hell had me scared.  Those ideas had me, and you, condemned to hell just for being born.  And except for a few particular things, there was very little we could do about it. 
It was the book CONVERSATIONS WITH GOD by Neale Donald Walsh in 1995 that told me things that now seem obvious.  “I tell you there is no such experience after death as you have constructed in your fear-based theologies.  Yet there is an experience of the soul so unhappy, so incomplete, so less than whole, so separated from God’s greatest joy, that to your soul this would be hell.  But I tell you I do not send you there, nor do I cause this experience to be visited upon you.”  
I recall sobbing when I read this.   I knew that God would not create me and a nasty place to send me.  I just knew it.  Now I had read it in black and white. 
This is how Dr. David R. Hawkins puts it in HEALING AND RECOVERY:  “He (God) is going to understand human nature and is not going to throw me into the pit fires of hell for being human.  He created me as human;  I’m his handiwork.  What is He going to do?  Condemn his own creation?”
It is amazing the relief from fear and guilt this gives.  

And That is a Deep Subject...

Unable to communicate over distances with each other, humans invented the phone.
Unable to lift their wings and take flight, humans invented airplanes.
Unable to dive to the depths of the sea with the fish and whales, humans invented boats and submarines.  
Unable to control the wind and rain and snow, humans cut down trees and built houses.
Unable to see their Maker, humans invented one that that looks like them, out there, up there, apart. 
Unable to control their baser natures, humans made an anti god to blame, and gave him hell. 
Unable sometimes to find water, humans dug a well...   and that is a deep subject...

Imagine for a moment...

Imagine for a moment there is no hell.  At least no hell beyond what we make for ourselves right here on our little overpopulated planet.   Imagine that all the things we do to each other, killing and lesser sins, are the results of lots of someones making really bad decisions.  Imagine all of the evil in the world is human produced and humans start realizing that and take responsibility for themselves.    Imagine!
