Long have I believed that the solution to the world’s problems is a simple... Be Nice To Each Other. And while that works in theory it doesn’t seem to be so easy in the real world. It takes a lot of effort and tolerance for some of us (insert me) to be nice to drivers in traffic that are not nice to us. I’m not sure what the best way is for an individual to keep control of their emotions while driving or any other situation that seems to hit us humans the wrong way. We have heard of the term Righteous Indignation but I think mostly that is simply an excuse to get angry. And what about the all the great injustices in the world. There aren’t too many of us that take to heart the advice of one of the great master’s of old that tells us to ‘turn the other cheek’. I was thinking of printing out ‘Just Be Nice’ and placing it somewhere in view in my car as a reminder but at the moment I can’t think of a place to put it that wouldn’t be tacky. Maybe I just have to keep reminding myself that I really do know a solution to a lot of the world’s problems but then I have to Just Do It.
