Life can feel unbearable at times; Too much heat, too much cold, too much tragedy, too much pain. Sometimes we seem have a tendency to go through life as sleepwalkers, not being very aware of who and what we are. Viktor E. Frankl, a Neurologist and psychiatrist, spent time as an inmate in Nazi concentration camps and from that came his book, “MAN’S SEARCH FOR MEANING.”
“Life is never made unbearable by circumstances, but only by lack of meaning and purpose.”
― Viktor E. Frankl
By taking responsibility for our lives we can find meaning but does it take life experiences like that of the holocaust and the concentration camps before we recognize the need for that meaning in our lives?
Does your life have meaning? Do you feel fulfilled with what you do and who you are? What will it take for you to find meaning?
