The Sacred Future...

I wish to present a webpage that is well worth a read.  It is a part of Starhawk's web page and it is an updated section from her novel, THE FIFTH SACRED THING.  In the novel she outlines a vision  of the city of San Francisco that could very well be a blueprint for a sustainable future for the human race.  This small example about energy: 
"The city has abundant sources of renewable energy. The tides and currents that flow under the Golden Gate turn huge generators that provide a major source of electrical power. It is supplemented by solar panels on roofs, wind generators, including many that hang from colorful balloons suspended above the rooftops, and others that crown the supports of the bridges that span the bay."

Take a Step into Your Future...

You may not aspire to spiritual mastery, whatever that might mean to you but do you know you can vastly improve your life by adopting some of the characteristics of mastery.  Some of these characteristics make a lot of sense just by themselves.  Some may not have occurred to you.  Masters are sensitive to beauty in all forms.  Masters are egoless and do not direct attention to themselves.  They have respect for Nature and all of its members.  Unconditional love is a characteristic of masters.  They radiate true wisdom.  A Master will not instill fear.  They are universal and non-sectarian.  The true Master is the embodiment of compassion.   Read and contemplate this list.  Look in a mirror.  Does any of it fit?  Spiritual mastery might fit you very well.   Don’t be afraid to take a step into your future...

A Little Bit of Cause and Effect Coming Down...

The veils between the dimensions are thinning.  Past, present, and future are starting to bleed together and linear time is speeding up.  Karma, the idea that what you do will come back at you, is cycling faster and faster.  In other words what goes around will come around faster than ever.  
You don’t have to believe or even understand this to be aware of it and make use of it.  This means that you might encounter experiences that you don’t understand.  You will feel the effect of what ever might have caused.  You might remember that yesterday we spoke of synchronicities or coincidences.  These are happening more/sooner and are more recognizable.   You must be aware, however.  
And karma or coincidence does not have to be all negative.  The positive aspects of cause and effect will also come around faster and show up sooner and will become more obvious. 
So I am saying that there are experiences, feelings, emotions and states of mind that can be very useful.  Being aware can help you navigate the not so fun times and recognize and take advantage of the positive and feel good times.

Speak to the earth, animals and birds
Speak to the sky, thunder and light
Travel between, in and out
Walk the world between mastery and might

The shaman walks into the future with computer and phone. 

The Dawn of a New Day....

The night is dark and punctuated with wind and storms that blow through with heavy rain and hail.   You keep going because you have to.  There are others also on the road trying to find their way.  Sometimes it is so dark you can’t even see the road.  Someone takes your hand and you hear them say.... “This way”.  You have reached back and done the same for another.  The incline gets steeper but that is an indication to you that you are getting close to your destination.   And yes, you can see a dim light low to the horizon, in front of you.  You top the crest of the hill and the light is brighter.  Stumbling, you pull yourself up and see a stretch of road in front of you, only this road is wide and smooth.  Others are scrambling up around you and behind and are seeing the same thing.  You hear someone call out, “look there are people coming toward us.” and yes, you see them.   The dawn is brighter behind them but you can see that they come toward you with open arms, welcoming. One in particular seems to be coming directly to you... and that person is calling your name.   Then you are in their arms, in an embrace and they are whispering in your ear, “Welcome, I am so proud of you, You made it.”  You realize you have been met by your future self.   “Come with me”, your future self says, taking your hand.  “ Your future is bright and there are many wonderful things in store for you.”  Together you and your future self walk into the light of the new dawn. 
This new dawn is waiting for you.  It will take some time but there is a beautiful, peaceful future ahead for us and those we leave behind.  Take the hand of your future self and march unafraid into the dawn of a new day.
