There is no turning back....

It doesn't matter whether you believe that we have turned a corner in consciousness.   It does matter the decisions you make.   "The attainment of wisdom is slow and painful, and few are willing to relinquish familiar views (even if they're inaccurate);  resistance to change or growth is considerable."  (POWER VS. FORCE by David R. Hawkins, M.D., Ph.D.
However, if you make the decision, and truly intend to change there is no turning back.

Are you on a Spiritual Path...

From WALKING BETWEEN THE WORLDS one of Gregg Braden's earlier works:
"From my perspective, we are capable of only spiritual activity.   Life is a spiritual endeavor.  As varied and diverse as each path may seem, I believe with the power of my entire being, that each path is leading to the same place.  Without exception, I believe that each life, every death, all of the hurt, all of the joy and each experience in between, brings us closer to the same whole, to the same One.  Our relationships are not separate from our spiritual evolution.  Our relationships are our spiritual evolution."

Compassion is an Awareness...

The path to Spiritual Mastery and the evolution of mankind from a violent race to a peaceful, powerful, evolved humankind must include compassion and unconditional love.  And, in fact, unconditional love and compassion go hand in hand.  The  definition of unconditional love is contained within the words themselves; loving without condition.
Compassion is a little harder to get a handle on.  Compassion is viewing, observing an individual/group without the viewer’s individual bias coloring the observation.  It is knowing that behind the appearance, action, and being of any individual is a body and mind and a lifetime of programming that has placed them where they are at that moment.  Those individuals include ourselves.  Recognizing that our programming places us where we are, giving us reasons for who and what we are as well as what we do is not easy.   We must recognize first the need for compassion and then overcome our own programming and our own biases.
Two quotes from WALKING BETWEEN THE WORLDS:  The Science of Compassion.
by Gregg Braden.
From the dedication:  “It is you who will anchor a new wisdom rooted in compassion, laying the foundation for those with the courage to follow.  It is you who are asked to remember love, compassion and trust while living in a world that has hated, judged and feared.”
and from the preface:  “Compassion is an awareness that you become, rather than something that you do on occasion.”

Homo Spiritus...

The writer first noticed in the writings of Ken Carey the idea that humans were evolving into a human where the Spirit of God was birthing fully awake.   It was a delightful idea, one that made so much sense.   Why are we here, the question was asked by so many, so often.  So imagining a human where the Divine Spirit is fully awake made a lot of sense.
Imagine the delight upon finding this reference including a name for the evolved human:
“The appearance in humanity of the realization of God as the ultimate Reality, substrate, and source of Existence and Creation marked the beginning of a new, evolutionary branch of mankind called Homo spiritus.”

2011 Death to tyranny and birth to possibilities.

I have proposed potentials and possibilities in these writings and I am going to review them.
2011 is the year of illumination and as I look back at all that has happened this year It looks to me as though this has indeed brought a lot of illumination to the planet.  Would there have been so many revolutions had not so many people 'seen the light'.
The second possibility is that the changes taking place now are making way for a time of peace on earth.   I am told by mothers that birth is accompanied by pain.   The changes taking place on the planet both among the people and on the planet itself are the birthpangs of a new world.  This new world is the prophesied New Jerusalem, the New Earth, the earth of peace, harmony and creativity.
I am listing the evolutionary events that have happened in just the first half of 2011.  The list is quite amazing when you see it all in one place:
