Are you on a Spiritual Path...

From WALKING BETWEEN THE WORLDS one of Gregg Braden's earlier works:
"From my perspective, we are capable of only spiritual activity.   Life is a spiritual endeavor.  As varied and diverse as each path may seem, I believe with the power of my entire being, that each path is leading to the same place.  Without exception, I believe that each life, every death, all of the hurt, all of the joy and each experience in between, brings us closer to the same whole, to the same One.  Our relationships are not separate from our spiritual evolution.  Our relationships are our spiritual evolution."

Claiming Responsibility for Humanity...

This planet has been in war for generations.  Time after time there has been genocide often perpetrated by religious organizations.   Who thinks up these things?  Who starts and perpetuates these conflicts?  The answers to these questions are very difficult to face and understand.  Who has done all these negative things to the planet and to its inhabitants?  There is no other possible answer WE have done these things.  It has been obvious a long time that we are one... All are children of God.  We are all made of the same thing.  And once out of this human life we are all powerful infinite beings.  That we are ONE is a powerful insight but one that is very difficult for most people to accept.  “I am not at war”, we cry.  “I am not killing people and killing off their culture.”  There is no Them.  It is our participation in the collective consciousness.  It is our own attitudes that are mirrored to us as how humans can be to each other.
In the late 1980’s the collective consciousness tipped.  There are now enough individuals finding peace in their hearts and lives.  There are now enough people concerned about others.  There are now finally people showing compassion.  So why do we still have war? Genocide?  murder? homelessness?  The planet is in the process of changing.  The old ways are fighting hard for survival.   If we can take responsibility for ourselves and for the condition of the planet we can hasten the evolutionary changes.  As a seemingly separate expression of life on this planet it is difficult to claim any responsibility for all of the horrible things taking place but the more of us that can do this the faster and easier it will be for Peace to come to earth.

Beaver Lake, Pride and Yanni...

So what does Beaver Lake, which is a small lake in Stanley Park, in Vancouver, BC, Canada, and Pride, which in this case happens to be Vancouver’s big Gay, Lesbian, Bi, and Transgender Pride Parade and celebration, and Yanni have to do with each other?
Last Saturday morning my friend and I went hunting for a furry animal that likes to cut down trees and plug water ways.   The word was out that a beaver had returned to Beaver Lake which had been beaverless for quite some time and we wanted to see it.   We decided the best time to try and see it would be about dawn and that’s exactly when we went.   We saw the beaver... took a few pictures... nothing spectacular but we did find and view the beaver in Beaver Lake.   Dawn at Beaver Lake was spectacular however...Very few people, although there were some, jogging, biking, hiking in the area, not many.   It was silent except for a distant sound of the city now and then, so quiet...  Ducks swimming in the early morning light, a bird call here and there.  Silence and Sunrise.....Beauty at dawn.... So good for my soul, and the rest of me also.
Sunday around noon, Vancouver held it’s Gay Pride Parade.   I guess you could say it was the opposite of the lake at dawn.   Garish, loud, a lot of people marching in declaration of who they are and that it is okay to be them.   On the way to the parade taking the water taxi across False Creek, there were two young families consisting of a mother and father and a small child, talking about how they were on their way to the parade.  They didn’t look gay, either of them, but they sounded like it was a big event.  Something to see, a place to take your family.  The crowd attending the parade was huge and the parade itself was huge.   A lot of people marching in declaration of themselves.  And a lot of people supporting that by witnessing this parade.  It was definitely not Beaver Lake but it represented something else.... Pride in who you are and pride in being oneself and declaring it rather loudly...
Now Sunday evening my friend and I attended a Yanni concert.   Yanni is the new age guy with the long hair and was married to Linda Evans for a while.   He has concerts on PBS.  I thoroughly enjoyed the music.   And through the entire concert he mentioned how he and his musicians have traveled and played all over the world.  He talked about some of the different countries and continents where they played.  As he was about to play his final song, he said he wanted to leave us with a few words.  At this point he mentioned how his musicians themselves come from all over the world, and that he had heard an astronaut speaking recently about how the planet looks from way up there.  This astronaut had been on the space station and he mentioned how from up there you can see no borders between countries.  From above you can’t distinguish borders... Its as if we were all ONE.   ONE people with no borders separating us.  He said traveling and playing in all of these countries and seeing all the different people, and hearing the astronaut had given him hope that we might indeed, one day be ONE people.  Then Yanni played his last song, “One Man’s Dream”.
So what do Beaver Lake, Gay Pride, and Yanni have to do with each other?  They represent my wishes for you and for the world.   I wish you the peace and serenity of Beaver Lake at dawn, the Pride of knowing who you are and being that, and I wish you the experience of a world without borders, that we are indeed, One People.  That is my wish for you and my dream... Not just one man’s dream...

A statement of ONE...

I am a strong believer in the idea that we are all ONE and that it is only here in the third dimension, the earth dimension, that we experience separation.  Within this idea is the idea that we as humans are made of God substance.
The following is a part of a channeling, found on the internet and is a statement of Oneness that put a lot of information together for me.  The channeling is from this site and this page:   http://angelofdiscernment.blogspot.com/2012/07/illumi-not-anymore-i-message-from.html
"We remind you that All are One and One is All and each Soul is a part of the Great Unified Consciousness of Source. Each Soul is continuously and Infinitely connected to Source, complete with all the innate attributes of Source. Each Soul is equal to Source in EVERY way because they ARE Source, and as such incapable of the concept of “karmic debt”, for in order to incur karmic debt some form of judgment is inferred and conditions are requisite to be placed within that Absolute Unconditional Love. Do you see the conundrum? This cannot be. And so, by way of decree of the One Truth, The Law of One, which is Absolute Unconditional Love, there can be no judgment, no “karmic debt”."

We are ONE.

A Year Later...

Just over a year ago I wrote about leaving a legacy when I am gone and I said I would revisit this to compare how I feel now with then.  This is what I wrote:
“If you had a gift to give to the world, a legacy of some kind to leave behind you, what would it be?   I have thought a lot about this very question for myself and I will revisit this in a year and see if it is the same.  But for now:
What I would consider my legacy to be would be my awareness of two things.   My first Awareness that I would tell people about, that I would leave as my legacy, would be that we are all ONE, completely connected, made of the same stuff and despite our separation and differences, humans are really Many parts of One.   I honor and celebrate this awareness by wearing a white plastic bracelet that has the word ONE embossed on it.  This bracelet is from a great organization called One.org that works to eliminate hunger and aids from Africa and the planet.  I wear the bracelet because it constantly reminds me that we are ONE.
The second awareness I would leave with the world are my ideas and understandings of God and the fact that God is so much more, so more beautiful, so much more awe-inspiring than we can ever imagine.
Oh, and perhaps, there really is one more thing... and that is that all is well with my soul and with the world.  In spite of all that happens that we judge good or bad, positive or negative, that all really is O.K.
What is the gift that you would leave, your legacy, to the world?”
How do I feel about this as the legacy to leave now, just over a year later?  I guess I pretty well agree with it except I feel like leaving a legacy just isn’t that important any longer.  I know that I won’t be leaving a negative legacy and that is the most important thing for me.
We are Many Parts of One.  God is so much more, so much more beautiful, so much more awe-inspiring than we can ever imagine, and all is well with my soul and the world.  How about you, again I ask, what will your legacy be?  Can you say all is well with the world and my soul?

Today I made a judgement...

Today I made a judgement but then I changed my mind.
We are all shadow and light, human and divine.
I thought I saw your shadow but then I heard your music.
I judged you by your appearance and then I heard you play.
It no longer mattered what you looked like, in your music I saw heaven.
When we judge, we separate and I don’t believe in separation.
I know we are connected.   I know we are all one.

The Face of God as Many....

If I were an artist, specifically a cartoonist, I would draw a set of images and call them, "the changing face of God".  In the first one would be primitive humans praying to their nature gods,   Pantheism, everything outside of themselves, that they had no control over that became their gods.   Next would be an images of Abraham, of Old Testament fame, considered to be the father of monotheism.  Abraham is recognized by the three major organized religions as the beginning of the belief in one god, again however this is a god, created in a human image, male, old, and existing outside of the human existence.   This god spoke to Abraham and a few others directly.   The next image would be of the prophets, masters, great souls, who came to show us god and teach us how to live with each other.     Still one God but teachers, prophets, aware humans, who we often did and still do turn into gods.   There will undoubtedly be more of these frames but the last one I would do is simply this, an image of a human, looking at themselves in the mirror.  and this would I would depict as an adult looking into the mirror but seeing a baby reflecting back.   This is the new face of God, as we are all baby gods in the making.   There is still a Source, but that Source has placed a part of Itself in all of us.  And we are finding that part and integrating that Divinity into the human.  As our linear time becomes more focused in the now, humans will come to know themselves as the "I", the one, the many, part, but the totality of All That Is because All is the Source.   The great song of Creation, a harmonic chorus in Spirit, once only heard in Spirit, will come alive and be heard as the wind blows across this fair earth, and in the quiet stillness of a warm summer evening will we hear this choir of angels.  What began as the All will be the many as One.   The face of God as Many faces, humans, you and I.

ONE.......

ONE... We are all made of the same stuff, all pieces of God trying to find our way home, remembering and once more experiencing that Oneness.  But perhaps when we have so much trouble tolerating, liking, loving the other it's because we are having trouble tolerating, liking and loving ourselves.     It is easy to say...."we are ONE"....  Is it easy to feel it... know it.... be it?   ONE...

God is like a tree.

And the Master said...
God is like a tree.   A tree has many parts.  There are leaves, branches, twigs, bark, roots, as well as flowers and fruit.  Some even have thorns.  God is the entire tree.  You and I  and all other creation may be likened to a leaf, or a twig or even a cell, a fragment of bark.  But God is the entire tree.  The leaves may fall, flowers and fruit come and go, but the tree is always there.
The student spoke up, “Yes Master I understand your meaning.  We are a part of God.   Each is a part of the whole but the whole is God.”

The Possibilities are Endless....

When the planet earth was created a call went out for souls who would volunteer to come to this beautiful place as an experience of separation from the creative and loving  matrix of the Prime Force.   It was and is a place of free will and free choice and the souls began coming, volunteering, clothing themselves in denser bodies of flesh.  Over time these souls, many returning over and over again, forgot that they were pieces of the the Prime Creator.   In this forgetting they forgot who they were and how connected they were to each other and to the Creator, the One that was called God.  Having forgotten who and what they were they made up images of God but they could only describe these images in terms they could understand and thus was born a god made in the image of man.
The lower vibration of this planet is now changing.   Some are beginning to remember who they are.  Some are returning as children who are open to their connection with the Creator.   Many of them we call sick or different because we do not see or feel the connection they have.   It is easier now to remember our connection to the Creator and to each other.   It is this that will make it possible to create peace on the planet and enjoy what life can really be.  It is the awakening that is causing upheaval and the clearing out of the old energy.   And as we awaken to the Creator in us the possibilities are endless.

Our gift to life...

If you had a gift to give to the world, a legacy of some kind, to leave behind you, what would it be?   I have thought a lot about this very question for myself and I will revisit this in a year and see if it is the same.  But for now:

The gate is opening....now is the time.....

From PATH OF EMPOWERMENT by Barbara Marciniak:  "Proceed to love who you are, all the while cultivating your creativity by believing in the unlimited possibilities of growth through your own personal transformation.  We suggest that you invest in your self, for on the web of existence, we are all one."

"I'd rather see you up"

In my previous post I spoke of myself as an “angel flying too close to the ground”.  This phrase is from a song by Willie Nelson about an angel that breaks her wings flying too close to the ground.   That is my literal interpretation but I like the image of it.   Many of us are like that, we can’t see the bigger picture because we are too close to it.  I would urge you to be like the eagle and get a higher perspective.
There is a lot going on in the world and in our lives.   And when we only look at it from the perspective of the ego, the little i, we don’t always see the big picture.   We have a tendency to take things too personally.   We are all ONE whether we believe this or understand it.   Hover a little higher like the falcon, like the eagle, and look at the world and your own little world from a higher perspective.   See that higher perspective, feel it.
I’ll leave you for today with these words also from the same song  (Thank you Willie):  “Fly on, fly on past the speed of sound
I'd rather see you up
Than see you down”
