It's So Easy to Hate...
It is so easy to say “I hate”. I hate when my finger hurts. I hate that politician. To your child, ‘I hate when you do that’. I suppose it would be nice if things got better when we say ‘I hate’, but unfortunately they don’t. And in fact, to say those strong words may do more harm than good. It is better to be aware of using negativities as these and if you want to cancel the negativity use words such as, ‘I forgive my finger for hurting, and I forgive myself for feeling the negativity of pain’. It is so important to be aware of what we say to others, the universe and ourselves. Wouldn’t you much prefer to have something positive, such as a blessing or a smile, making ripples out into the universe?

What Are You Good At?...
In the past when we have talked about understanding who we truly are as an individual it is possible to get an idea of this by examining what we like, what we enjoy, and in this way really defining ourselves. Take some time and think about what you are the best at. What do you do that you yourself consider to be very good. There is something, usually more than one something, but there is something that I consider I am good at. Are you best at being a mother, are you best at making money, are you best at loving your partner, are you best at drawing or music. Peel away the layers and break it down to that which you are good at doing, being. Some people may instantly know what the best thing is. Some it may take some self examination. But once you get an idea of that which is your perfection, that which you are good at, think a little about why are you good at it. Think about what you have done to get to be so good at what this is. Think of what it takes to keep you at your peak on this that you do well. Now apply those things that you do and apply them to those things you feel you are not so good at. If you are satisfied with these areas that are not your best, fine, then let it go, but if you want to improve them then use your own principles for greatness in the best area of your life to help you improve the areas that you intend to improve. Make your intention to become more rounded in who you are by improving these areas of personal need. Then do it.
