Three Ideas for Good Living...

A advertising but uplifting email from JJ Virgin, weight loss and nutrition guru gave three things she had learned in 2012.  They are good for everyone, regardless if you are trying to lose weight or just trying to make life work.  She has quite an interesting personal story and some interesting weight loss ideas.  You can find that information on her website www.jjvirgin.com.  The three things she shared about living:
Take care of your Health.
Be Grateful.
Forgive Quickly.

Choose Awareness...

Choose Awareness, Love, Joy, Forgiveness, Compassion.  Without awareness you may have been chosen by negativity, anxiety, worry, guilt, shame and fear.  And what I mean by ‘you may have been chosen’ is that often we were influenced even as a small child by the negative emotions of our family, church, and others of influence close to us.   Without knowing it we have been living under that influence.  Choose awareness and start living...  truly living...

Interesting name, Golden Rule.

The Golden Rule is a perfect guide for living ones life and it is found in all major religions.

Christianity: All things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye so to them; for this is the law and the prophets.
      Matthew 7:1
Buddhism: Hurt not others in ways that you yourself would find hurtful.
      Udana-Varga 5,1
Islam: No one of you is a believer until he desires for his brother that which he desires for himself.
      Sunnah
Judaism: What is hateful to you, do not do to your fellowman. This is the entire Law; all the rest is commentary.
      Talmud, Shabbat 3id
Hinduism: This is the sum of duty; do naught onto others what you would not have them do unto you.
      Mahabharata 5,1517

Must be something to it if it is found in all of them.  Interesting name, Golden Rule.
