The Key to Joy...

In my search I am led from one bit of information to another. My hope is that by sharing some of what I find another can find that next bit of information that is looking for them.   These are quotes from Power vs. Force by David R. Hawkins, M.D., Ph.D.
"The key to Joy is unconditional kindness to all life, including one's own, which we refer to as compassion.  Without compassion, little of any significance is ever accomplished in human endeavor."    Page 73

Your Impact on the Consciousness of All of Humanity

The more I study and ask questions the more I am led serendipitously to more information.   And my good friend is often the catalyst of these synchronizations. 
She had seen Dr. Wayne Dyer on a Public Television special and wanted to go to a bookstore to find some of his books.   Being one who loves bookstores I went with her.  It was on that trip to the bookstore that I found a book by Dr. Dyer that has started to fill in a lot information for me.  We have been told often and I have written about how what we do affects ourselves and the world around us.  Dr. Dyer in his book, “THE POWER OF INTENTION”, introduces us to the work Dr. David Hawkins.  Dr. Hawkins is a renowned psychiatrist, physician, researcher, and pioneer in the fields of consciousness research and spirituality.  He has conducted research on how positive energy counterbalances negative energy.  Now I don’t know how he came to these conclusions and I will only touch on them here but just two examples:  “One individual who lives and vibrates to the energy of optimism and a willingness to be nonjudgmental of others will counterbalance the negativity of 90,000 individuals who calibrate at the lower weakening levels.”  and “One individual who lives and vibrates to the energy of pure love and reverence for all life will counterbalance the negativity of 750,000 individuals who calibrate at the lower weakening levels.”  Another conclusion drawn from these studies:  Because of the negativity the entire human population would self-destruct were it not for the counteracting effects of these higher energy fields.  You can read more on this information in Dr. Hawkins book “THE EYE OF THE I”.  The section title in Dr. Dyer's book was,  “Your Impact on the Consciousness of All of Humanity”.   Need I say more?

Create Peace in Your Life....

There are times when something is said so well and says so much that I want to share it.

Take your place...

All our lives we have given away little bits, sometimes large amounts, of ourselves to get along in the world.   Our family, church, school, tell us do this, do that, don't do this, don't do that.   And so our life becomes a lot of what we hear and only a little of what we choose and feel.    It is okay to claim those little and big bits.   Its okay to claim our coping skills, our relationships, our love and our spirituality.  
Take your place,  look at all the places where you have given away your power, make your choices and stake your claim.   Stake your claim for what is already yours.    Espavo... I see you claiming that which is yours.  

Make it so...

Our future is getting better all the time and our children will live in a wonderful world.   I know that in a lot of ways it doesn’t look like this will happen but it will.  Some years back the Soviet Union fell, the Berlin Wall came down.  China is no longer a threat to the USA because of the trade and the fact that they have supported us financially.   Dictators are falling all over the planet and a lot of that is happening in the middle East as we speak.  Won’t it be a wondrous day when we can say to another, “peace on earth good will toward man” ... and woman,  and not only mean it but be able to see that it is taking place.   All that is going on with the planet right now, earthquakes, floods, fires, volcanoes, is the earth adjusting itself to the new energy.   All of these things will take a little time but in a few years, perhaps a generation or two, things will be so much better.   And if there is nothing else we can do about it we can start thinking of the half full glass, being more positive, and putting our own intent for a peaceful fulfilling world out into the universe.  Did you see that quote yesterday?  “no greater power in the Universe than Human Intent and Love.  As humans we totally underestimate our power.  The captain of the starship Enterprise would tell his officer, “make is so”.

Independence Day.... Independence from a higher perspective

For whatever reason I am not one to celebrate holidays.   I find them a bit of a nuisance, except I liked having the day off from work when I worked full time.  Perhaps, it is the crowds, the noise, I really don’t know why I don’t like holidays.   So on this July 4th, I am going to write about independence from a higher perspective.   
I don’t have a date, and perhaps there isn’t a specific date I could point to but I consider my independence day to be the day that I decided that most of what our organizations give us is illusion, possibly downright lies and I wanted to find out the truth, what ever that might be.  A great many countries have holidays called “Independence day” and most of them refer to a date when some great battle or some declaration was made that freed them from the tyranny of a person or country.   I think the internet now has a great deal to do with more tyrants falling, more people around the world claiming their independence.   Take a look at your own life, what tyrants have control of your emotions, your life, your happiness?
Ask the questions, ask for help, decide you can overthrow those tyrants, habits, addictions, materialism, what ever they might be, and declare your own day of independence.   It’s a good feeling and will move you a long distance along your path of spiritual understanding.  You can choose to become the powerful loving being you were meant to be.
