This is Personal-Retirement...

After a lifetime of social work and chronic physical conditions, a positive and supportive relationship and retirement set the stage for a move from one part of the country to another and made an intensive search a reality.   Add to the mix a synchronistic friend in the form of an angel with books and ideas, and the search for the God of Love began to clear hurdles one after another.   Ken Carey, Barbara Marciniak,  Dolores Cannon, Don Miguel Ruiz, Bruce Lipton, Robert Schwartz, Michael Newton, Kryon, Gregg Braden, and, of course, Dr. David R. Hawkins,  each one slipping in to add insights to the one before or to answer the begged question.    Dr. Hawkins writes about truth and how he came to know how it can be tested.   Ask and you will find and one step after another the truth becomes clearer and you are set free one step at a time.   We probably won’t remember it all, put all the pieces together, until we leave this difficult beautiful place, this planet of joy and sorrow but there is a lot we can know now.    One makes a choice to come here knowing it can be difficult.   There are a lot of good intentions.  And then we wake up to find ourselves in these heavy clunky bodies and soon forget who we really are and where we came from.   We have no idea why we came here and why we took this body, this family, this gender, this locality.  We can only improve our situation with intent and will. Some get so bogged down in the energy of the life they are living it takes a kind of intervention from another human or a saint or angel to help them.   The more of us that make the choice for truth and compassion the faster the higher truth will spread and the faster more people will work to pull themselves out of the patterns of pain and violence that has them bogged down.   Prayer, meditation, and intent are what it takes to start and to move us on our own search for the God of Love.  

What it Means to "Be....."

Remember that quote from Gandhi that we see often?  “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.”

Have you ever really thought about what that means?  It means that there will never really be peace in the world till you are peaceful.  If you are not able to find peace within yourself, if you get angry when someone cuts you off on the road, if you are judgemental of someone who is not like yourself, you will never find peace within yourself. 
There is good news, however.  If you set your intent... declare to yourself that it is your intention to ‘be the change’, intend to heal those things in you that need healing, become the peace you wish to see in the world, things will start to change for you. 
The intention is enough to get it started and awareness and paying attention to your inner guidance will keep it going.  The other good thing is that once you start working on these things for yourself that energy moves out into your world.   It will effect your children, your husband, your friends, your enemies and the planet itself.  
This is what it means to “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.”

A Gift from the Past...

I am encountering an interesting phenomena.  Books and information that I had never been able to read or understand or even want to read suddenly are becoming must reads for me.  And it usually is through a synchronicity that I become reacquainted with this information.  In the past few weeks I took up a book by Dr. Wayne Dyer on intention because my friend had seen one of his shows on PBS.  Then from Dyer I was reintroduced to Carlos Castaneda which at one time I was not able to get into at all.   I am now learning from both of them.   When another puts words in a certain order I can see a picture and gain an understanding.  From Castaneda’s book, THE ACTIVE SIDE OF INFINITY, Castaneda’s teacher Don Juan describes when they met:  “When we met in Arizona, both of us crossed a peculiar threshold, ‘he continued’. And this threshold was not decided by either one of us, but by infinity itself.  Infinity is everything that surrounds us..... The Sorcerers of my linage call it infinity, the spirit, the dark sea of awareness, and say that it is something that exists out there and rules our lives.” 
continuing Castaneda writes: 
....”He answered that his steps and mine were guided by infinity, and that circumstances that seemed to be ruled by chance were in essence ruled by the active side of infinity.  He called it intent.” 
 “... the active side of infinity.  He called it intent.”     This was truly a gift from the past to me.  Carlos Castaneda died in 1998.  

It is happening, even now.

One does not have to choose mastery.  One only needs to make the intent to live their lives from a higher perspective and to do it for themselves.   Learning to heal your life, recognize and move on from drama and seeking the place inside yourself where there is harmony will change your world and make it the world we really do desire for future generations.   We don't have to say 'I can't do it because it has never been done' or 'we have always had war and conflict that will never change'.  Changing the planet, making it safe, making it sustainable, healing our own lives is something we want to do for ourselves.   and it can happen.   I say it is happening, even now.    

It Only Takes A Thought...

A small planet at the edge of the Milky Way is completing a cycle and its human inhabitants are growing up.   It doesn’t look that way to most of us.  Wanting peace, we seem to have gotten more wars and more attacks.   Wanting comfort, we seem to be getting more extremes of weather and planetary upheavals.   We can think of the changes that are happening, the evolution of the planet and her people as a result of the galaxy having completed an orbit and has arrived in an area of great energy or we can think of the earth having received an influx of higher vibrational energy from the God source itself.   It doesn’t matter.   What matters is that it is happening and we can make life better for ourselves and our loved ones if we start tuning into this new energy.   Setting an intent to do so will start that process.  And we can do a lot for ourselves and others if we direct some of this energy to places that are going through some of the birth pains and upheavals of the earth.  We often speak of our world as being a world of duality waging a great battle between darkness and light.   If you are in a dark room and light a match or turn on a flashlight that darkness starts to disappear.  Darkness cannot stand where there is light.   The energy of now is making it easy to assist those in need.   And if there is even a possibility of all of this leading toward peace on earth and humans working together to birth a renewed world,  isn’t it worth a thought of light sent to Norway, Somalia, Iran, or someplace next door that has been devastated by a destructive human or a tornado or flood. 
“I intend that this light that I send will illuminate the darkness and illuminate the heart of someone who needs love.”  Thats all it takes.   It is a new time.  It only takes a thought.

Make it so...

Our future is getting better all the time and our children will live in a wonderful world.   I know that in a lot of ways it doesn’t look like this will happen but it will.  Some years back the Soviet Union fell, the Berlin Wall came down.  China is no longer a threat to the USA because of the trade and the fact that they have supported us financially.   Dictators are falling all over the planet and a lot of that is happening in the middle East as we speak.  Won’t it be a wondrous day when we can say to another, “peace on earth good will toward man” ... and woman,  and not only mean it but be able to see that it is taking place.   All that is going on with the planet right now, earthquakes, floods, fires, volcanoes, is the earth adjusting itself to the new energy.   All of these things will take a little time but in a few years, perhaps a generation or two, things will be so much better.   And if there is nothing else we can do about it we can start thinking of the half full glass, being more positive, and putting our own intent for a peaceful fulfilling world out into the universe.  Did you see that quote yesterday?  “no greater power in the Universe than Human Intent and Love.  As humans we totally underestimate our power.  The captain of the starship Enterprise would tell his officer, “make is so”.

John Lennon was quite a dreamer, was he not?  And if one believes we come back, he will most likely be here to see the fruition of his dreams.   If we can imagine something, it can happen.
