Earth Day Every Day

As I stood on my balcony this morning, 4.22.2016, a day we have designated as Earth Day, with sunflower seeds in one hand as an offering to the chickadees and my coffee in the other I was declaring my love and sending my blessings to our dear mother earth. The thought slipped into my mind, " you are so important to us Mother". But I almost choked on my coffee when I realized what I had thought. Earth is not just important to us, Earth is essential to us, without her there would be no us. I urge us all to remember this. When we without thought toss a piece of garbage we are throwing it onto our mother. When we care for an animal or admire a bird we are admiring our earth Mother. It is all one system of which we are an integral part. In our free will we have been allowed to forget this. Let this be our remembrance not only today but each day. We are part of this earth. Every day of our lives is Earth Day. Blessed be.

Don't Like god?

If you don't like god, the angry, judgmental, old man in the sky image of god that humans have created try thinking of  intelligent, creative Source.   The image of god that most humans and religions accept does not exist.  Nor does the evil villain, god's nemesis, the devil, for that matter. 
There is however a multiversal, creative, intelligent, and even benevolent Source.  This is closer to a description of God.   

The New World...

Then You Have Found God...

When you can let go of religion and recognize the Creator in all of Creation, and be awed into silence, then you have found God.

Be Not Afraid

Be not afraid of who you are, who you were or where you can go. It is a new time and you are supported by the Universe. Release the old, purposefully let go of any blocks, ask the Universe for assistance. You are a child of forever, a grand soul having an experience in a body. As much as we relate to these bodies they are not the part of us that is forever.You are love and a part of the Love that is eternal. You are loved.

I Found Where God is Hiding...

I found where God is hiding and I know why God hides.  God hides within us and we have chosen it that way.   But once we know where to look, God is no longer hidden.  And when we realize that God is within, there is no need to turn to someone else, a religious authority perhaps, to tell us what to do, where to look, how to be. 
And how, you ask, can God be inside?  Well God, not all of God, is inside, but we are a creation of Source, God is Source.  God is infinitely more than we can conceive because we are finite beings on a small planet with free will somewhere in Universes that are all created by and are part of Source.  But I too, as so are you, also created by and are part of Source, we have just forgotten that here.  We are starting to remember.  And it is time to remember who we are and who God is.   It is time to remember that we are a drop of water in the ocean that is Source.  We are a grain of sand that is part of the beautiful beach that is Source.  But that ocean and that beach is not complete without yours and my drop of water and grain of sand.   And now that we remember that we are part of Source we have the option of bringing more of Source into and onto Planet Earth and ourselves.   It is going to be difficult to get past years and even lifetimes of programming that we are separate from God and less that the least.  But it only makes sense and you can have that epiphany just as I have had if you choose. 
We have been taught to greet our fellows with 'Namaste'.  Namaste, I see the God within you.  It might help to look into a mirror and greet yourself, Namaste, I see the God within.  If we learn to see God, that little piece of Source, in others and in ourselves, there won't be a need for division, for war.  
I had an epiphany, an ah ha moment, a great understanding.  I found where God is hiding.  God hides within you and me and the animals and the earth, and All that Is, just waiting for us to look.  Namaste...

They Will Keep Coming...

None of the planetary changes, or even the cultural changes will have much affect in the long run if we, the humans, don't face up to the challenges and changes taking place on our level.  I read and hear of the many challenges and changes on many levels that are taking place for individuals, families and even groups.  The challenges, the problems, the changes in our lives are a result of the balancing of negative and positive energy.  As with the planet, humans are balancing out the negative energies.  When you encounter problems in your life, look at them as part of the changes taking place.  Your part. 
Think in terms as your being here at this time and this place in history in order to clear up, heal your life, both for your soul's sake and for the planet itself.  What you do for yourself you do for the planet. 
Look at the problem.   Look at it as a challenge.  There are usually emotions involved.   Decide that the emotions are there to be felt and healed.  An intense emotion may take some work.  For example a lifetime of anger, or fear.  When the problems come up, face them, claim them, deal with them.  Deal with them, surrender them, and let them go.   
If you don't deal with them they will keep coming till you do.  

Facing Challenge and Change in a post 2012 World.

The days, months and years beyond 2012 are all about balancing polarity and the changes and challenges that come about because of the balancing process.  The process is actually happening faster than expected.  The old paradigms of religion and culture are starting even now to break down.  Corporate greed and the dominance of the wealthy class is being exposed and starting to crack.
You have been hearing, I’m sure, of the disclosures and whistle blowers that are filling the front pages and the television news stories.  Genetically modified foods, government surveillance of the people.  Even religious figures and politicians are being shown for what they are rather than what they appear to be.
When we hear these things often our reaction is ‘see I told you so’, or ‘oh no not another one’.   Or we get angry and self righteous.  This affirms all the conspiracy theories we have heard,  we might have a fear reaction that the government is out to get us now.  That is a big response to the growing firearm controversy in the USA.  These are truly all signs that the old negative structures are breaking down.
This breaking down of paradigms is happening on all levels.  There are galactic changes but those are too far away for most of us to notice them.
There are planetary changes.  This should be obvious; powerful storms, earthquakes, hurricanes, volcanoes, heat waves, long heavy winters, wildfires, glacial melting.  Have you heard about any of these in the news?These are all part of balancing of negativity.  Our lovely planet has been dug up, mined, warred upon, drilled to the point that it has to change.  It is changing.  But again recognize this for what it is.  Do not go into fear.  Make preparations or leave if you live in an area affected by these occurrences.
The cultural and individual changes and challenges we will talk about in subsequent writings.   Just remember this:  You are safe, you are not alone, and at least on a soul level you have chosen to be here. 

Taking Care of Yourself...

I am reading of so many individuals in pain and having negative symptoms. With the changes in energy this will continue to happen. So much is coming up to heal and our bodies and psyches are learning to live in the new energy.
I would like to present just a few ideas for your consideration to help with these negative symptoms. Take what you can use and forget the rest.
1. Much is happening now but we have chosen to be here. We are not victims.
2. Accept responsibility for yourself.
3. The negative symptoms are not fun but we can learn to handle them.
4. To handle negative emotions learn to sit with them for a time. Breath deeply at least three deep breaths. Allow yourself to feel the feeling as much as you can. If they appear to be overwhelming, feel them as long as you can and then do something to distract yourself and come back to it when you feel it again. When it feels better after sitting with and feeling the emotion, let it go.
5. Sometimes if the challenge is too much for you, you must seek assistance; Professional help, 12 step program, body work, more.
6. Pray, meditate, make contact with your guides, angels and most of all, your Higher Self.
7. Surrender, surrender, surrender....

Sometimes I Really Need Some Reminders...

I am currently reading a book that has a message that I needed to hear, again.  The book is PROOF OF HEAVEN, by Dr. Eben Alexander.    Dr. Alexander is a neurosurgeon who spent 7 days in a coma resulting from a rare case of bacterial meningitis.  He came out of the coma changed and with a message that he felt he had to share with the world.  There is a lot more to the book but the main message is:  "You are loved and cherished, dearly, forever.  You have nothing to fear." and interestingly enough, "There is nothing you can do wrong".   He reminds us of who we really are and that God, while being more than we can imagine, is truly personal and loves all of creation including you and I.  It is these reminders that I need the most.  I seem to need the reminder that it is okay to be me at whatever level of consciousness I am at, today or ever.  If you are in need of assurance, reminders of who you are, or even just have a great summer read I recommend this book.  Dr. Alexander has a website and the book is very accessible.  The kindle edition was very reasonable.

The Sacred Future...

I wish to present a webpage that is well worth a read.  It is a part of Starhawk's web page and it is an updated section from her novel, THE FIFTH SACRED THING.  In the novel she outlines a vision  of the city of San Francisco that could very well be a blueprint for a sustainable future for the human race.  This small example about energy: 
"The city has abundant sources of renewable energy. The tides and currents that flow under the Golden Gate turn huge generators that provide a major source of electrical power. It is supplemented by solar panels on roofs, wind generators, including many that hang from colorful balloons suspended above the rooftops, and others that crown the supports of the bridges that span the bay."

A Visit from a Chickadee...

I stepped out onto my balcony to look at something when I heard a noise.  At first I couldn't tell where it was coming from.  It sounded like a bird had banged into a window.   I looked around and saw inside my apartment a bird on the inside of the window trying to get out.  I went inside and caught the bird and as I went toward the open balcony door it slipped out my fingers and flew out into the forest.  My dog was going crazy....
It was a little beauty of a bird and it left before I could photograph it.  As a totem the chickadee talks about communication and how to use our voice.  It teaches us about flexibility and curiosity.  I think my little visitor must have been a very curious little one.  Chickadee also is considered the bird of truth and one of my favorite places on the internet, Linsdomain, states it this way:

I Had a Steller Day Yesterday...

I had a steller day yesterday, in more ways than one.  From my balcony window I saw at least 6 species of birds, a deer, and squirrels.  Earlier in the day on a walk with a friend in her neighborhood we saw 4 deer.  For someone like myself seeing this wildlife in the city really made my day.  I’m not very fond of people, although I suppose I have learned to live with them.  I also know that I would probably not enjoy living without other people.
There do not seem to be many like me, who love the wild things.   This is the reality I have created for myself.  It is a reality which makes me happy.  It gives me joy.  Those deer represent gentleness, love, and compassion.

Don't push people to change, rather gently nudge them in right direction, with the love that comes from deer. Love and accept people as they are. The balance of true power lays in love and compassion.”
I had a steller day yesterday.  5 deer, chickadees, gold finches, stellar’s jays, towhees, crows and hummingbirds.  I love the wild things.  They give me happiness and joy. 

You are my Sunshine... A little boy's song...

I have no idea where this story originated or if it is true.  It doesn't matter.  I believe in miracles.
Read it if you want to feel good.  Maybe it will help you or reinforce your belief in miracles. 

"Like any good mother, when Karen found out that another baby was on the way, she did what she could to help her 3-year-old son, Michael, prepare for a new sibling. They found out that the new baby was going to be a girl, and day after day, night after night, Michael sang to his sister in Mommy's tummy. The pregnancy progressed normally for Karen, an active member of the Panther Creek United Methodist Church in Morristown, Tennessee. Then the labor pains came. Every five minutes ... every minute. But complications arose during delivery. Hours of labor. Would a C-section be required?

Finally, Michael's little sister was born. But she was in serious condition. With sirens howling in the night, the ambulance rushed the infant to the neonatal intensive care unit at St. Mary's Hospital, Knoxville, Tennessee. The days inched by. The little girl became worse. The pediatric specialist told the parents to prepared for the worst.

Karen and her husband contacted a local cemetery about a burial plot. They originally fixed up a special room in their home for the new baby - now they planned a funeral.

Michael kept begging his parents to let him see his sister, "I want to sing to her," he said. Week two in intensive care. It looked as if a funeral would come before the week was over. Michael kept nagging about singing to his sister, but kids are not allowed in Intensive Care. Karen made up her mind. She decided to take Michael whether they like it or not. If he didn't see his sister now, he may never see her alive. She dressed him in an oversized scrub suit and marched him into ICU. He looked like a walking laundry basket, but the head nurse recognized him as a child and bellowed, "Get that kid out of here now! No children are allowed. The mother in Karen rose up strong, and the usually mild-mannered lady glared steel-eyed into the head nurse's face, her lips a firm line. "He is not leaving until he sings to his sister!"

Karen towed Michael to his sister's bedside. He gazed at the tiny infant losing the battle to live. And he began to sing. In the pure hearted voice of a 3-year-old, Michael sang: "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are gray --- " Instantly the baby girl responded. The pulse rate became calm and steady. "Keep on singing, Michael." "You never know, dear, how much I love you, Please don't take my sunshine away---" Her strained breathing became smoother.

"Keep on singing, Michael." "The other night, dear, as I lay sleeping, I dreamed I held you in my arms..." Michael's little sister relaxed as healing rest seemed to sweep over her. "Keep on singing, Michael." Tears conquered the face of the bossy head nurse. "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. Please don't, take my sunshine away."

The next day--the very next day--the little girl was well enough to go home! Woman's Day magazine called it "The Miracle of a Brother's Song." The medical staff just called it a miracle. Karen called it a miracle of God's love."

I have written before about youth that are being born with much more awareness than the generations who came before.  Often they appear as prodigies and are recognizable by their intensity and even at a young age, their abilities.   Here is a group of those youth.  There are more, they are all over, they are all ages.  Look for them, give them support and assistance.

Keepers of the Secrets Know...

There is magic in the air.  And changes abound.   A South American dictator dies, Barack Obama keeps his presidency for another 4 years.  Horrible school shootings have started an amazing dialogue about firearms and mental illness.   A pope resigns and the new one is not from Europe.  There are still wars and many states, countries, and cities have financial problems. 
Many looking at these goings on would say that things are getting worse, that good ole mother earth and her greedy humans were on the fast track to hell.  But I want to remind you.  If you start to think that thought, that all is going to hell in a handbasket, cancel it.   Cancel the thought and replace it with the thought that this is all part of the birth of a new way.  The old ways will fight for their existence but they are on their way out.  Look for the positive things.  There is Magic in the air.   Which is the message of the crow and raven.  They are keepers of secrets but they know.  The changes are positive.  You will see...

Just a little light.....

Its only March but it seems like its been a long winter.   In the east and midwest lots of snow, in the northwest lots of rain and dark, grey days.  I get tired of the grey days, the days without sunshine.  But I have to remember that I sometimes have to supply the light.  Just a little light is all it takes. and sometimes that inner light is all you can find.   In the darkness all it takes is turning on a light, however that is done and the darkness goes away.   That is how easy it is to make the darkness go away.  Darkness on its own has no power.  Darkness cannot come into a lighted room and chase away the light.  But any little light, a match, a candle, even a cell phone, chases the darkness away.   Allow your light... the beautiful light that is in you, all of you, to chase away the darkness.  You can't imagine how much light that puts into the world, each of us... just a little light...

The Message of Hummingbird...

The hummingbird is such a beautiful little flying flower that the message they bring is one of pure joy.  Just think what it would be like if our life consisted of being a most accomplished flyer, showing off our beauty and tasting sweetness all the time.   A lot of humans try for that don't they.  Hovering, flying backwards, performing amazing aerial stunts, and seeking sweet nectar for food and nourishment, that is the life of a hummingbird.   A very wise young man recently remarked how difficult it is to 'remember to be happy'.  If a hummingbird has crossed your path lately think a little about the joy in your life and think about how you can make it a little more joyful for yourself and someone else.  Often that is when we feel the most joy when we are making someone else happy. 
And let the beautiful little hummingbird remind you to remember to be happy.  Choosing happiness and joy is easy and simple.  We simply have to remember to do so.
